Pretrial, Probation and Parole Supervision Week
The American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) is celebrating Pretrial, Probation and Parole Supervision Week (PPPS Week) this year from July 21st through July 27th.
This is an annual celebration with the goal of raising awareness about the amazing work that community corrections professionals do every day. This week also provides us with a special opportunity to recognize the competence, dedication, and accomplishments of this distinguished group of criminal justice professionals.
The Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Adult Probation Department, the largest county probation department in Ohio, manages close to 7,000 adults on a daily basis. Our officers have a deep commitment to helping adult offenders turn their lives around to live productively in society, while simultaneously making them accountable for their behavior.
